The Happiest Boy in the World

First, I want to start this post by saying how small of a world we live in…How did I meet this lovely family? Well, a friend of mine that I used to work with years ago at Maurices in Minnesota is Jacob’s (the adorable boy you are about to see) aunt. Her husband’s sister lives in Virginia and when she was expecting, my dear friend asked if she had a photographer, because she knew of someone that just moved down there. Well, all thanks to Amber, I have now photographed for the Hanson’s twice and am so grateful to Amber and to random connections and that the world is smaller than I often think!  I first photographed Jacob when he was a wee three month old and now five month later, he has transformed into the happiest child I’ve ever seen! He didn’t even require me to make embarrassing noises to get him to smile, you simply said his name and BOOM smile. What a delight!

I also cannot stress enough how much I LOVE photographing at client’s homes. All the photos were taken in the comfort of their own home. No driving anywhere, packing a bag or studio lights, just relaxing in your own home and oh, having your photos taken. I love it! Annnnyways, here’s Jacob… :) Did I mention how cute he is? I just think you need to be warned…he’s cute, like really really cute.
